By accessing or using MedPrep ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

MedPrep provides a platform for healthcare clinics to create, manage, and distribute patient preparation instructions. The Service includes a clinic administration interface and a patient-facing application accessible via QR codes.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Ensuring that information you provide is accurate and current
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Upload content that is harmful, offensive, or violates any third-party rights
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity of the Service
  • Use the Service to store or transmit patient personal health information beyond preparation instructions

5. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you create within the Service, including custom preparation sequences, medication instructions, and clinic branding. MedPrep retains ownership of the platform, master record templates, and all underlying technology.

6. Medical Disclaimer

MedPrep is a tool for organising and distributing patient preparation instructions created by healthcare professionals. The Service does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. All medical content is the responsibility of the clinic that creates it. Healthcare providers using MedPrep are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and appropriateness of all preparation instructions.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability. We will endeavour to provide advance notice of planned downtime.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MedPrep shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
